Before agreeing to a deal

  • Keep messages and deal records in Second Story.
  • Inspect an item before paying whenever possible.
  • Do not pay a deposit just because someone creates urgency.
  • Never share your password, OTP, verification code or recovery code.
  • Be cautious when asked to move to WhatsApp or Telegram or to follow a payment link.
  • Use Block and Report from the listing or conversation safety menu.

Second Story's contextual warning can highlight risk phrases, but it cannot prove whether a person or offer is genuine. Stop and verify independently when something feels wrong.

Know what the marketplace provides

Agree on the price and collection details directly with the other member. Second Story does not currently collect item payments, provide escrow or arrange delivery. A verification badge is not a guarantee of a member’s honesty or an item’s condition.

When something feels wrong

Pause the transaction. Keep relevant messages and use Report in the app. If you have already paid, contact your payment provider promptly. For help using Second Story, email support@mopy.studio.
